PICTURES show “chaos” as part of Gatwick Airport is cordoned off due to police incident.
The drop-off parking bay at the North Terminal of Gatwick Airport has been cordoned off while officers attend an incident.
One woman took to Twitter to voice her frustration at the situation.
She said: “Is anyone going to advise passengers what they can do to catch their flights from north terminal.
“It’s absolute chaos and nobody is giving anyone information????”

A Sussex Police spokesman said: “We are currently dealing with an incident at Gatwick Airport. A man has been detained.
“As a precaution, a cordon is in place at the drop-off parking area at the North Terminal.
“We will provide more information as soon as we are able.”
