Seven people remain in police custody after the burglary at the Tesco Express store last week
SEVEN people have been arrested after a burglary at a Tesco Express store in the early hours of the morning.
Multiple units were deployed to the scene in Finisterre Way in Littlehampton at around 1.45am on June 22.
Three men were seen on CCTV reversing a van into the back shutters and forcing entry into the store.
They were seen stealing the tills by the cigarette counter and left the store.
A police spokesman confirmed that seven people have been arrested in relation to the incident and remain in custody.
“There maybe an increased police presence while officers continue their investigation,” he said.
