A 19-YEAR-OLD has been fined and given points on his licence for driving without insurance.
Karl Stevens has been ordered to pay a total of £816 by Hastings magistrates after being caught driving with third party insurance in Southgate Avenue, Crawley, on December 29 last year.
The 19-year-old was proved guilty in a single justice procedure.
Stevens, of Firwood Drive, Surrey, was fined £660 and given six points on his licence.
He will also have to pay £90 in court costs and a surcharge of £66 to fund victim services.
