A TEENAGE motorcyclist has been fined for having bald tyres.
Reuben Lowe has been ordered to pay a total of £344 by Hastings magistrates after he was caught driving with tyres with less than 1.6mm depth of tread in Hyde Gardens, Eastbourne, on November 11 last year.
The 18-year-old was proved guilty in a single justice procedure.
Lowe, of Cooden Drive, Bexhill, was fined £220 and given three points on his licence.
He will also have to pay £90 in court costs and a surcharge of £34 to fund victim services.
