THE body of a 25-year-old woman has been found at the base of a cliff.
Emergency services were called to the cliffs in Eastbourne at 3.30pm on Saturday, June 25.
Police said the body of a 25-year-old woman was found.
Her next of kin has been informed.
“A report will be prepared for the coroner,” a police spokesman said.
The RNLI Eastbourne said a volunteer crew was paged at about 3.30pm on Saturday.
They were requested to launch their inshore lifeboat and tasked to assist police and local coastguards with the incident.
“There will be no further details due to the sensitive nature of the call,” a RNLI spokesman said.
