POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man died in the days following a head-on crash.
Emergency services were called to the scene of the collision in Kennel Hill, Chichester, at 4pm on Friday, June 10.
The crash involved a black BMW M1 and a black Ford Mondeo, police said.
The drivers of both vehicles suffered serious injuries, while two passengers suffered minor injuries.
All were taken to St Richard’s Hospital in Chichester, where the driver of the Mondeo – a 67-year-old man – died six days later on Thursday, June 16.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to the fatal cash.
As part of the ongoing investigation, officers are requesting that anyone who witnessed the collision or who may have captured any relevant dashcam footage emails collision.appeal@sussex.police.uk, quoting serial 889 of 10/06.
