PERFORMERS and spectators were out in force for the return of a mass Morris dancing event.
The Day of Dance, hosted by Brighton Morris Men, took place across Brighton and Hove on Saturday, July 2.
The festivities began with a mass dance at Pavilion Gardens in Brighton at 10.30am, before groups performed at various locations across the city.
At 3.30pm, the groups rejoined under the British Airways i360 for a final mass dance.
The groups involved in the mass Morris dancing event included Belles of London City, Berkshire Bedlams, Cuckoos Nest, Ditchling, Greensleeves, Jockey Morris, Worthing Larks and Tower Ravens.
Photographs from the main event on Hove seafront showed a large number of spectators enjoying the show in the sunshine.
