NINE fighter jets have been spotted flying in formation over Sussex this morning.

The jets were spotted flying past Worthing eastbound this morning at around 9am.

They were also seen - and heard - over Brighton at around the same time, as well as 9.45am this morning.

The squadron are T-50B fighter jets from the Black Eagles, which is the South Korean equivalent to the RAF’s Red Arrows.

South Korea's air display team is due to fly at the Royal International Air Tattoo which runs from Friday, July 15, to Sunday, July 17 at RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire.

They have made practice flights over Chichester, Arundel, Brighton and Eastbourne twice this morning between 9am and 10am.

Meanwhile, Eastbourne airshow will have its own air displays with the Red Arrows on all four days, as well as F-16AM Fighting Falcons, which are part of the Belgian Air Force.

Both the Red Arrows and F-16AMs will be seen on all four days of the show from Thursday, August 18, to Sunday, August 21.

The Black Eagles will not be flying at the Eastbourne Airshow.
