A ROAD is blocked following a crash involving three cars in a residential street.

The accident happened at around 3.25pm this afternoon in Victoria Drive, Eastbourne.

Police and fire crews are at the scene between the A259 Church Street and Dacre Road.

It is unclear if anyone has been injured but one person was cut out of a vehicle.

A black Audi, a white Peugeot and a red car can be seen across the road.

An East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said: "We were called at 3.27pm to attend an RTC involving three vehicles on Victoria Drive, Eastbourne.

"Crews from Eastbourne and Newhaven attended. We extricated one person from a vehicle. This person was handed over in to the care of Secamb.

"We left the scene at 4.18pm."

A Sussex Police spokesman said: "Emergency services were called to Victoria Drive, Eastbourne, following reports of a collision involving three vehicles at about 3.25pm on July 13."
