OFFICERS investigating a £40,000 rail cable theft have released images in connection to the incident.
On June 19 at around 8pm, it is believed three men attempted to cover up CCTV cameras at an area of railway in Pease Pottage before stealing a large amount of cable.
A spokesman for British Transport Police said: “Officers believe the men in the CCTV images may have information which could help their investigation.
“If you recognise them or have any information please contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 80 of 25/07/22.
“Alternatively you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
