Man arrested after causing £1K of damage to The Breakfast Zone in London Road, St Leonards
A MAN has been arrested after £1,000 worth of damage was caused to a seafront café.
Police were called to The Breakfast Zone in London Road, St Leonards, at about 10.40am on Monday, July 11.
Officers arrived to establish a man had entered the café, become abusive to staff and customers and caused about £1,000 worth of damage to the door, crockery and stock.
The man was found a short time later by officers and detained.
He has been released on bail whilst enquiries continue.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident.
