A WOMAN has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving after a car crash in the early hours of the morning.
Police received a report of a single-vehicle road traffic collision in South Farm Road, Worthing at around 1.30am this morning (June 16).
Several people were spotted by the vehicle, which appeared to crash into a fence, with debris from the car strewn across the pavement.
The woman was arrested at an address in Worthing on suspicion of failing to stop at the scene of a road traffic accident and of drink driving.
She remains in police custody.
Witnesses and anyone with relevant footage or information is asked to report it to Sussex Police online or by calling 101, quoting serial 98 of 16/07.
