MORE than £1, 500 has been stolen from a shop during a break in.

Police received a report of an alarm activation at the Co-op store in East Wittering at 11.55pm on Wednesday, July 20.

Officers attended the scene in Bracklesham Lane to find three intruders had broken in and stolen more than £1,500.

The store was left closed to the public the following day.
