A ROAD has been blocked due to a collision on the A27 involving a horsebox.
The crash was first reported at around 11am this morning on the A27 Shoreham By-Pass westbound.
Heavy traffic has formed just after the exit of the Southwick tunnel to the A283 Steyning Road.
A spokesman for National Highways said: "We're receiving reports of a collision involving a horsebox on the A27 westbound around Shoreham causing very long delays.
"Sussex Roads Police are on scene. We're awaiting further information from them as to the severity of the incident and plan of action."

Emergency services are on the scene.
