With regard to the letter about the possible closure of West Blatchington windmill (Letters, February 18), it would be a great pity if this was to happen.
For several years I have been with parties of schoolchildren visiting the mill. The volunteers made our visits very interesting and always took great pains over all aspects of our safety, informing staff and pupils of the safety issues when they arrived at the mill.
I do hope the situation can be resolved and Peter Hill and his volunteers will be able to continue sharing their valuable knowledge with children in the future.
