A MAN has been arrested over reports of indecent behaviour in the presence of two young girls on two buses.

The first incident happened on the number three bus in Crawley as it passed through Gossops Green on Wednesday, June 29. The incident happened around 4.05pm.

A man is said to have acted indecently in front of a girl, who was not touched and got off the bus.

The second incident happened at 4.50pm on Saturday, July 2, as the bus passed through Pound Hill.

The man is again said to have acted indecently and touched the girl's leg. She got off the bus.

As a result of information received following a public appeal on July 26, and other enquiries, officers arrested a 24-year-old man the next day on suspicion of outraging public indecency.

After being interviewed he was released on police bail with conditions until August 24 while enquiries continue.

Detective Inspector Ali Hutchings said: "Anyone who has any other information, is asked to report online or call 101, quoting serial 1093 of 29/06."
