SINGER-SONGWRITER Paloma Faith will be taking to the stage this evening to headline the final day of the Brighton Pride festival.

The award-winning pop star, known for her tracks Stone Cold Sober, Only Love Can Hurt Like This, and Make Your Own Kind Of Music, will join Jake Shears, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and others on the main stage of the festival in Preston Park, with dozens of other acts, including LGBTQ+ musicians, performing at other tents at the event.

Paloma’s performance comes after Christina Aguilera performed a set to a crowd of thousands as the festival opened its doors for the first time since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Argus:

Revellers will also be able to enjoy a range of fairground rides at the festival.

Those taking part in one of two Pride beach cleans this morning near Shelter Hall and Brighton Palace Pier will be able to get their hands on a free ticket to this afternoon’s performances as a thank you for their hard work.
