Regarded as one of the world's best Pride festivals, Brighton and Hove Pride returns this weekend.

This will be the city’s first Pride event since the Covid-19 pandemic and more than 300,000 people are expected to attend.

Taking place until Sunday (August 7), main events include the Pride Parade, We Are Fabuloso with headliner Christina Aguilera and Pride Village Party.

Brighton Pride Parade

The theme for the delayed 30th anniversary Brighton & Hove Pride LGBTQ+ Community Parade 2022 will be ‘Love, Protest & Unity’.

One of the highlights of the weekend showcases the city’s charities, community groups, small businesses and emergency services.

The route wends its way from Hove Lawns to Preston Park for We Are Fabuloso.

Brighton Pride Parade timings

The parade will set off at 11am from Hove Lawns, before heading along the seafront, passing by the i360, before heading up West Street and through North Street.

The parade will pass the Royal Pavilion, Victoria Gardens, St Peter’s Church and head along London Road towards Preston Park.
