With reference to your headlines about the car accident in which several teenagers were injured, and one killed (The Argus, February 11), how did a 15-year-old get hold of a car? Naturally, one understands the upset suffered by the parents of those involved in this incident, but were they not aware of what their children were doing?
Your headlines over two days indicated sympathy towards the lawbreakers, at a time when crime is out of control and the authorities are hard pressed to keep a grip on the situation.
In fact there are many cases where innocent members of the public end up being chastised, while young louts get off with a slight tap on the wrist.
Also, where is the sympathy for those whose garden walls have been wrecked?
