A BOY has been left with facial injuries that will require surgery and rehabilitation after he was attacked in a park.
The boy, 15, was “kicked and punched” by four boys of a similar age in Hotham Park, Bognor, at around 8pm last Friday, August 5.
All four boys were wearing balaclavas and black Nike tracksuits, while one was wearing a blue tracksuit.
Officers attended the scene and carried out a search but there was no sign of the attackers.
Detective Sergeant Molly O’Malley from the Coastal Criminal Investigations Department said: “The victim has suffered serious physical injuries requiring surgery and rehabilitation, an impact which will no doubt remain with him for the rest of his life.
“We are seeking information from anyone who was in Hotham Park on Friday evening and who may have witnessed the assault or the suspects leaving the scene.”
