A WOMAN has been left with life-threatening injuries after being hit by a car.
The crash happened yesterday at around 5.50pm on the eastbound carriageway of Sheep Plain in Crowborough.
It involved someone driving a blue Jaguar X-Type.
She was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Eastern Road, Brighton, where she remains.
Roads Policing Unit officers are investigating and are keen to speak with anyone who witnessed the crash.
Anyone with relevant dashcam footage of the vehicle and the woman at the time of the collision of immediately beforehand is also asked to contact the police.
