A MOTORCYCLIST has been seriously injured in a collision with a car.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash which happened on the B2146, near South Harting, Chichester, on Sunday.
Police and ambulances were called to the scene just after 12.20pm.
The road was closed for about three hours while emergency services attended the scene.
The motorcyclist was taken to Southampton Hospital by air ambulance with serious injuries, where he remains in a stable condition.
The driver of the car, a Toyota Yaris, escaped unhurt.
Anyone with information or dashcam footage which could help with the investigation is asked to report it to police by emailing collision.appeal@sussex.police.uk, quoting serial number 573 of 07/08.
