FIRE crews are battling a blaze at a petrol station after a car burst into flames.

Smoke could be seen billowing from the fire at the Shell petrol garage in Arundel Road in Fontwell, with flames shooting into the air.

Firefighters from West Sussex Fire and Rescue are at the scene of the incident.

Restrictions have been put in place along part of the A27 as the emergency services tackle the fire, causing some traffic in the nearby area.
