What's this country coming to? I read that geese have been stabbed to death, swans kicked and shot, of terrible cruelty by a dog breeder and many more acts of vile cruelty to animals. We were always thought to be an animal-loving nation. No more I feel. To top this, the Government is permitting wild boar hunting (The Argus, February 21). I thought it was against blood sports. Are we descending into a lawless hedonistic nation?
