THE Red Arrows are set to fly over Sussex this weekend as part of an airshow display. 

This year sees the return of the Eastbourne International Airshow as it celebrates 28 years.

Attracting huge crowds, Eastbourne's International Airshow boasts a two mile flying display line along the seafront.

Confirmed displays for this weekend, from August 18 to 21, include the RAF Red Arrows, RAF Typhoon and Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.

People in Sussex will get the chance to watch the spectacle in Fittleworth, Burgess Hill and Alfriston before the display in Eastbourne on Thursday, August 18. Although they are set to perform on all four days of the event.

The planes will later be visible from Windmill Hill in East Sussex, and Henfield.

The aerobatic display team flew over the Goodwood Festival of Speed three times in June.

They performed their unique lightning loop and tornado moves, along with a jubilee descent.

Thousands of spectators came out to enjoy the display.
