A MOTORCYCLIST has been left with “potentially life-threatening injuries” after being hit by a van.
The crash happened yesterday afternoon at around 5.30pm in Whitehawk Crescent, Whitehawk.
The motorcycle rider has been taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital with “serious, potentially life-threatening injuries” after the collision with the grey Peugeot van.
Whitehawk Crescent was closed all evening at its junction with Whitehawk Road to allow emergency services to respond to the scene.
Officers could be seen at either side of the road last night. Clothing can be seen lying at one end of the cordon.
Officers would like to hear from anyone who saw what happened, or who may have captured any relevant dashcam footage.
