THE first pictures of new high-end student housing have been revealed ahead of the new academic year.
The building, in Moulsecoomb Way, Brighton, near the University of Sussex, is part of a new development which includes a high-spec gym and study spaces.
Hillfort House has been built on a former waste-transfer site and can house nearly 400 students.
Pictures of the building show a stylish, neutral interior with wood flooring and plenty of space to sit.
The communal areas include a pool table as well as communal kitchens for residents to enjoy.
Students can either rent rooms in a cluster of flats, or a spacious studio fitted with a kitchen.
Student Roost, which runs the student housing, suggests that spaces could be used for activities such as communal cooking classes for residents.
The property has also been designed to be eco-friendly, including grassland green roofs, lighting sensors and spaces to charge electric vehicles.
The building opened on July 16 and rooms are still available to book for the forthcoming academic year.
