Summer may be drawing to a close but there’s still time to enjoy one of the many pubs with a view, in the area.

Lucky for us, The Guardian has revealed its 20 best waterside pubs in the UK, including this one in Sussex.

Set on the west bank of the River Ouse it is located in one of the most unspoilt parts of the Sussex countryside.

Offering a unique drinking house experience, The Anchor Inn boasts a fleet of rowing boats for customers to use to navigate the river, before heading back for some liquid refreshments.

In the kitchen they use local and seasonal ingredients wherever possible, with most suppliers within a 25-mile radius of the pub.

The bar stocks everything you would expect from real ales and local ciders to carefully selected wines, whiskeys, gins and spirits.
