Woman, 80, dead after falling from cliffs at Beachy Head
AN 80-YEAR-OLD woman has died after falling from Beachy Head.
Police received a report that a woman had fallen from the cliffs near Eastbourne, at about 4.05pm on Sunday, August 21.
Several emergency crews including coastguard and a coastguard helicopter attended the scene.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her next-of-kin have been informed.
A police spokesman said: “The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.”
