ROAD closures across the A27 are set to cause delays for motorists this week.
Roadworks around Brighton and Hove are expected to cause disruption and delays of up to 30 minutes to journeys for commuters throughout the week.
The first closure started last night on the A27 eastbound at the Holmbush Interchange and will last until 6am on September 10, causing delays of between ten and 30 minutes. The slip road has been closed for local authority works, with a diversion in place.
A second closure on the A27 begins this evening from 8pm eastbound and westbound between Devils Dyke and Patcham due to lane closures for maintenance works, lasting until 6am on August 25.
The same section of the A27 between Devils Dyke and Patcham will be closed eastbound overnight from 8pm on August 25 to 6am the following day.
A diversion will be in place while maintenance works take place on a slip road.
In some good news for motorists, the latter two road closures are expected to cause only slight delays of under ten minutes.
