This downtempo legend now has a Brighton residency on first Sunday of the month.

Chris has recently completed an album with his new group City Reverb, entitled (Lost City Folk And The) Grace Reunion. He describes the vocal project as "robot soul" and the first release will be Everything Will Be Alright, a limited edition seven-inch single, due out this month.

He is continuing his remix work with Rob Da Bank, with whom he co-presented the Blue Room show for Radio 1 from 2002-2006.

Chris is also collaborating with Portuguese producer Rui Da Silva and UK chill-out artist Afterlife, presenting bank holiday chill-out shows for Radio 2, working with classical violinist Sally Cooper and developing his new house alias, Beards Of Paradise.

Raised in Sussex, Chris ran the legendary Frenzy and Coco Club nights at Brighton's Zap club, before going on to record for Warp records and become the editor of DJ Magazine.

Having worked with Nick Cave, author Iain Banks and actor Patrick Bergin, he has now played out on every continent save Anarctica and was the DJ on Robbie Williams' last world tour.
