A woman is fighting for her life after a hit-and-run accident.
The 35-year-old cyclist was knocked off her bike in Canterbury Road, Worthing, at around 10.45pm yesterday.
She was taken to Worthing Hospital with serious injuries.
Police searched the area and found an abandoned Ford Transit van in nearby Broadwater Hall.
It has been taken away for forensics testing.
The woman, believed to be from Worthing, was this morning still in a serious condition.
