TWO men who "jumped" off Brighton Palace Pier at the weekend are still in hospital and there is no update on their condition.

The RNLI, police, and ambulance crews all attended the beach on Sunday at around 7pm following the reports.

A witness told how paramedics performed CPR on one of the men for “30 minutes” while “a hundred” people watched on from the beach before it was closed off.

The Argus:

The men were taken to hospital and yesterday Sussex Police confirmed that they were still there.

Today, the force confirmed that there was no further update on their conditions.

A spokesman said: “As far as we are aware there is no update on the condition of either of the people involved.”
