How can Brighton and Hove Bus Company survive under the current circumstances? The buses always seem to be half-full of pensioners.

I catch the bus to work every day after dropping my daughter off at nursery. I usually have to ask people to move seats so I can fit the buggy on and often receive the comment from pensioners that buggies shouldn't be allowed on the bus. If I had £1 for every time this happened, I could save up and buy a car and never catch the bus again.

Brighton and Hove City Council is serious about cutting down on car use but the alternative public transport provision is becoming a nightmare and enough to give anyone grey hairs.
