POLICE were called to a town centre after antisocial behaviour broke out at several pubs.
Officers were called to pubs in Warwick Street and Chapel Road in Worthing shortly before 8pm yesterday evening following reports of antisocial behaviour involving a “large group of people”.
Several police vehicles, including a police van, were spotted in the town centre, with some parked outside The Three Fishes pub in Chapel Road.
A police spokesman said: “Officers attended both scenes to engage with business owners and with the group in order to ensure the safety of the public and to minimise disruption to the wider community.”
