A PLATINUM-SELLING jazz musician is to play a show in Bexhill as part of her world tour.
American singer-songwriter Madeleine Peyroux, best known for her UK top ten album Careless Love, is set to visit the South Coast as she celebrates the re-release of her most successful album.
Hailed as “the deft fusion of jazz, R&B and light touches of her adopted country France’s chanson” by Mojo magazine, Peyroux has experienced extensive success with her voice being compared to that of Ella Fitzgerald.
The singer, who was born in America but lived in Paris for many years, will perform all of the songs from her most popular album.
Careless Love, which includes fan favourite songs such as Don’t Wait Too Long, was re-issued in 2021.
Madeleine Peyroux will play at the De La Warr Pavilion on Saturday, October 1, and tickets can be purchased from www.myticket.co.uk.
