INDIE rock band The 1975 are set to kick off their UK and Ireland tour in Brighton next year.
The band will begin their 12-date tour at the Brighton Centre before gigs at The O2 in London, the Ovo Hydro in Glasgow and a homecoming show in Manchester.
The announcement comes as the band released a new track, I’m In Love With You, from their forthcoming album Being Funny In A Foreign Language.
Formed in Manchester in 2002, The 1975 has garnered acclaim for its exploration of a range of musical genres, including R&B, gospel and synth-pop.
The band’s previous album, Notes On A Conditional Form, was released in 2020 and became their fourth No 1 album in the UK.
Tickets for the gig on January 8 at the Brighton Centre go on sale on September 9 at 9am, with fans being able to get their hands on tickets through a presale from September 7.
Being Funny In A Foreign Language is released on October 14.
