A road has been closed following a collision near Gatwick Airport
A cyclist has been taken to hospital following a crash near Gatwick Airport this morning (September 3).
London Road had to be temporarily closed near the airport following the crash between the cyclist and car.
It has since reopened.
According to Sussex Police the cyclist suffered “minor” injuries.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: “Emergency services were called to London Road in Gatwick shortly before 9.30am on Saturday (September 3) to reports of a collision between a cyclist and a vehicle.
“A cyclist suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital by the ambulance service for assessment.
“The road was temporarily closed but has now reopened.”
