ALBION fans were left in ecstasy after the Seagulls thrashed bottom-of-the-table Leicester City.
Supporters packed out the Amex to see Albion beat Leicester 5-2.
Leicester made a dream start to the game after scoring just 51 seconds into match, with fans chanting "we are staying up".
However, they were swiftly silenced as Albion turned the game around, with Brighton supporters taunting Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers with jeers of "you're getting sacked in the morning".
Albion manager Graham Potter said he was delighted by the team's performance.
He said: "Absolutely fantastic, great performance, great result and great atmosphere.
"We had to respond from the first minute, we spoke about responding from the disappointment of midweek.
"To concede so early is not the ideal start but we reset at half time and played really well."
Albion's victory has tightened its grip on fourth place in the Premier League, ahead of Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool.
Forecaster FiveThirtyEight currently gives the Seagulls a 24 per cent chance of qualifying for the Champions League and a two per cent chance of winning the league.
