On Monday, February 25, at about 2.30pm my wife had a nasty fall in North Street near the Old Steine. She lost four of her teeth and suffered a badly gashed top lip.

Two gentlemen rushed to her aid. One of them made a call for an ambulance. A young lady went to a nearby restaurant and got a chair, a glass of water and tissues to mop up the blood. They stayed with us until the ambulance arrived. In the worry and anxiety I did not ask their names.

I trust they will read this letter in The Argus and accept the heartfelt thanks of my wife and myself.
