Recently I was travelling to Brighton from Mid Sussex along Lewes Road, looking for Coombe Road. I knew approximately where it was but when in a line of traffic you have to be careful not to cause an accident. I nearly did because Coombe Road was not signposted on either side so I missed it.
Why doesn't Brighton and Hove City Council put road names on both sides of the road so that the name can be read from either direction?
In this case the road sign was non-existent on both sides.
