Carol Barnes
Former ITN newsreader Carol Barnes is still seriously ill in hospital and is fighting for her life.
Ms Barnes, 63, was admitted to the Royal Sussex County Hospital over the weekend after suffering a massive stroke.
A spokeswoman for the hospital said there had been no change overnight.
Friends and former colleagues of Ms Barnes have spoken to The Argus and have given messages of support to her wishing her well.
