FIREFIGHTERS were called to the scene after a house was struck by lightning.
Several fire engines from West Sussex Fire and Rescue were spotted at the scene of the incident last night in The Estuary in Littlehampton, with one fireman seen inspecting a hole in a roof.
It comes after Sussex was hit by a second night of stormy weather, with another yellow weather warning for thunderstorms issued by the Met Office late last night.
More storms are forecast for tomorrow and Thursday in Brighton, with a return to more settled conditions not expected until the weekend.
West Sussex Fire and Rescue has been approached for comment.
