A woman was taken to hospital by air ambulance after her car was involved in a crash.
East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service were called to a two-car collision on the A259 between Friston and East Dean, near Exceat, at 7.17pm.
Firefighters used cutting equipment to free the woman from the wreckage.
