A CAR flipped onto its side following a collision outside a primary school.

Two cars were involved in a crash outside Carden Primary School in Patcham, Brighton, earlier this morning, with the road partially blocked.

A man could be seen standing by one of the vehicles, which had its windscreen smashed and scattered other debris in the road in the collision.

A group of onlookers could also be seen gathered near the incident.

Traffic is moving slowly along Carden Avenue following the crash.

Sussex Police have been contacted for comment.
