BRIGHTON Palace Pier has announced it will be screening the Queen’s funeral on Monday.
The service at Westminster Abbey will take place at 11am, though the build-up will start at 6.30am and BBC coverage of the event will begin at 8am.
The committal service at St George’s Chapel will also be broadcast.
The Palace Pier will remain open on the bank holiday and will be streaming the funeral service at Horatio’s Bar.
It is one of only a few venues in Sussex that will be showing the occasion publicly.
Hastings Borough Council has arranged a screening which will be shown on a big screen in Alexandra Park.
It will start at 10am, an hour before the funeral begins, and will be turned off once it has concluded.
Additionally, the Picturedrome Cinema in Bognor will also be showing the funeral.
Adam Cunard, the managing director, said on the website: "Tickets are limited and available at the box office, free of charge.
"Doors will open at 10am and you are welcome to join us."
