A FORMER police community support officer has been found not guilty of rape and sexual assault.
Jamal "Bertie" Robinson broke down in the dock as he was cleared of raping a young woman he met in a nightclub.
He met the woman, now aged 21, in a Brighton bar on Friday, December 13, 2019.
The 29-year-old wiped his eyes before embracing his family after a jury in Lewes found him not guilty of rape and sexual assault.
The ex-PCSO, who resigned from Sussex Police before his trial, thanked the jury before leaving the dock.
