PART of a major motorway near Gatwick Airport is closed following a "collision".
Two lanes of the M23 close to the airport are closed, with congestion back to the M23 roundabout onto the southbound exit at junction 9.
Four vehicles are believed to be involved in the incident.
Traffic is passing by the scene in one lane.
A spokesman for National Highways said: "Two lanes are closed on the M23 spur Gatwick westbound between the M23 J9 and J9A due to a collision."
Sussex Police have been approached for comment.
