A MAN was arrested after armed police were called to a street.
Officers were called to Harebell Close in Eastbourne in the early evening on Sunday, just a day after a similar armed response in nearby Milfoil Drive on Saturday afternoon.
Police were spotted setting up a drone at the scene, with a group of officers seen speaking to a man in a grey jumper.
A police spokesman said: “Police responded to a report of a domestic incident in Harebell Close, Eastbourne, at about 6.37pm on Sunday, September 18.
“Officers attended and ensured the welfare of all occupants.
“A 40-year-old man from Eastbourne was arrested on suspicion of common assault, and later released without charge.”
