FOUR men have been charged for drug dealing after 400 wraps of heroin and crack cocaine were found by police.

Daniel Hajiabol Ghasemi, 36, from Brighton has been charged with being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.

Three men from Portsmouth - Steven Tunbridge, 28, Shaun Harper, 30 and Reggie Gwyer, 21 - have also been charged.

It comes after concerns were raised by residents around Gloucester Road in Brighton, resulting in increased patrols in the area.

On Wednesday, September 7, officers detained a man linked to drug dealing in the area.

An address was then searched with between 200 and 400 wraps of heroin and crack cocaine found, as well as large amounts of cash.

Detective Sergeant Chris Lane of the Brighton and Hove community investigations team, said: "These four charges are a fine example of community intelligence leading to proactive police intervention, taking a large quantity of harmful substances off the streets and several individuals into custody.

“The public are our eyes and ears and it is essential that residents report any concerns to us so we can investigate and respond."
